The forums can no longer be part of the meta game.
Due to the current rule enforcement and additions especially.
30. Rumor threads and posts
Rumor threads and posts which are based off no actual information and are designed to either troll or annoy other users will be locked and removed. Players who engage in these type of threads can expect to receive a warning and ban.

11. Immediate banning from the forum can result from any of the following:
The posting of pornography; discriminatory remarks which are sexually explicit, harmful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, obscene, hateful, racially or ethnically offensive; excessive obscene or vulgar language; posts which discuss or illustrate illegal activity; providing links to sites that contain any of the aforementioned.
Why can this no longer be classed as part of the Meta Game?
Well during the last CSM election I had a lot of fun dragging up baseless allegations and even ones I believed were true but now they would all be considered rumours like:
Goonswarm created a massive number of alt accounts to vote.
Rumor Banned.
Goonswarm forced their members to vote for mittens.
Rumor Banned.
CSM member X is only out for their highsec mining/Null sec/Faction warfare.
Rumor Banned.
CSM member X got off light on a ban due to favoratism.
Rumor Banned
So next years CSM elections will be as boring as hell as anything said about a candidate will pretty much all be rumor so cannot be said.
As to the usual run of the mill arguments on this forum calling someone a sperg, assburger or any of the following is a slur so comes under
6.Personal attacks are prohibited.
Commonly known as flaming, personal attacks are posts that are designed to personally berate or insult another. Text of this nature is not beneficial to the community spirit and will not be tolerated. Corporation, faction and alliance members and other players are cautioned to avoid allowing GÇ£in characterGÇ¥ disputes from becoming "out of character" personal attacks. The game is designed for role-playing and/or portraying a role and it is sometimes easy for tempers to flare when the lines between the virtual world and the real world are crossed. Please keep in-game disputes in the game and off the forum unless it is clearly a mutual, in-character exchange.
So non of that can occur. Frankly I don't mind that one but there is alot of edits going on at the moment so this will probably occur as well.
So all they want is a friendly little chat board (or bored) where only constructive criticism is ever written. The down side for CCP will be instead of people venting here, if we ever get another Incarna all they will see is a bunch of messages saying "**** off" and accounts closing.
So as my usual Tinfoil hat style is now illegal, that raps it up for me. No I'm not quitting EvE but I will have to find a Non-CCP board to post too for anything not just based completely on facts. While screaming "RUMOR BAN HIM" at everyone else, while I am on this board.
Otherwise CSM elections will be as boring as hell and so will all the other conversations.
Actually this will probably be classed as

A rant is a long-winded, redundant post, often filled with angry, non-constructive comments. A free exchange of ideas is essential to building a strong sense of community and helpful in the development of the game, but rants are disruptive and incite flaming and trolling. Please post your thoughts in a concise, clear manner and avoid going off on rambling tangents.
It isn't a rant as it is a free exchange of ideas but I presume a free exchange is only when it is said nicely, without rumors or casting CCP's ideas in a bad light.
So in summary if you can only stick to polite facts it is not really a meta game fighting for political capital. Its just an ideas board, maybe they should just get rid of GD all together.

It depends how hard they enforce this but they are going pretty hard atm.
